Château Ausone

Château Ausone is one of the smallest but most famous estates in Saint-Émilion (Classé A). The limestone and clay soils and the south-facing slope give the wines an extraordinary mineral character. Cabernet Franc dominates the blend, contributing to the structure and longevity. Production is extremely limited, making Ausone one of the most sought-after Bordeaux wines globally. The style is restrained, precise and built for decades of aging.
